300 million for industrial investments in southern regions

Eligible Programs
Industrial development projects aimed at supporting the development and/or manufacture of critical technologies under the STEP Regulation or the development of the related value chain, in the following areas:
- Digital technologies and deeptech innovation;
- Clean and resource-efficient technologies, including zero net emission technologies;
- biotechnology, including medicines included in the Union list of critical medicines.
Investments must be made in Molise, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Apulia, Sicily and Sardinia.
Facilities
Exclusively in the form of non-repayable grant:
Small enterprise 55%
Medium enterprise 45%
Large enterprise 35%
This contribution can be combined with the 4.0 tax credit.
Eligible expenses
Purchase of land, masonry, machinery and production facilities, photovoltaic and cogeneration facilities, and software.
The project must have eligible expenses of not less than €5 million and not more than €20 million.
Expenditures must be initiated after the date of application submission.
Procedure
Access is by merit ranking evaluation procedure according to the following indicators:
a) degree of financial independence
b) incidence of core business on turnover
c) environmental sustainability
d) innovativeness
e) employment plan
Disbursement of facilities
In no more than 4 states of progress, with the possibility of 40% advance payment
